Honorary Member Policy

APREM New York · Updated October 14, 2026

About honorary membership

APREM New York welcomes people who wish to support community development in Morisseau. Honorary membership is a way to express interest and contribute to APREM’s mission. Submitting an application does not automatically confer membership.

Application and review

Applicants provide accurate contact information, their connection to APREM’s mission, and how they hope to support the work. APREM reviews each application and may request more information. An applicant becomes an honorary member only after APREM confirms acceptance in writing.

Participation and representation

Honorary members may be invited to learn about projects and participate in activities APREM communicates to them. The honorary designation alone does not confer a board position, authority to represent or raise funds for APREM, voting rights, or access to any specific benefit. Any formal rights are determined by APREM’s governing documents and written confirmation.

Contributions and payments

The honorary membership application includes a contribution. The form shows the selected amount and payment choices before submission. APREM reviews each application separately; a contribution does not guarantee acceptance as an honorary member.

Respectful participation

Honorary members should communicate respectfully and describe APREM’s work accurately. They must obtain APREM’s written authorization before using its name or logo to represent the organization or collect funds on its behalf.

Your information and withdrawal

APREM uses the information submitted to review the application and communicate about honorary membership. Please read the Privacy Policy. Do not send payment credentials in the form. To correct your information or withdraw an application, email info@apremhaiti.org.
